When you adopt a dog, we make a nominal charge of CHF 560 (inclusive of microchip). This amount covers some of our costs for transport, veterinary surgeon and food but not completely -  we are dependent on additional donations. The nominal fee serves also to prevent a possible unconsidered high-speed decision.

State of health inoculation of the dogs

All our dogs are treated against any parasites, wormed, vaccinated, neutered and chiped. They are tested for liver and kidney function (chemogram), as well for Mediterranean diseases (see medical guide).

Most dogs are in a good health.

From time to time we have dogs which suffer from arthritis as a result of over-exercise on race courses. Our veterinary surgeon here often obtains very good successes with acupuncture. These dogs do not need much exercise any longer but wish themselves only a beautiful old age on a soft cushion. Particularly with traumatized dogs, we use homoeopathy and Bach flower remedies. These help the animal during the management of its terrible past.

In any case we will explain to you completely about the state of health of your foster dog.

Consultation

We will advise you about feeding, acclimatiziation time with you at home, eg. health restrictions, recommendable dog schools etc., in order to make a good start for you and your dog  in its new life. Also, after the adoption, we are naturally always available to dog parents with advice and help.

Holidays place for adopted animals

If the space conditions permit, we offer gladly holiday places for former New Graceland dogs to you. We ask you to communicate to us the desired dates 3 weeks in advance so that we can book the spaces.
